finding us

complaints

Leigh Academy Longfield always tries to work alongside parents, carers and other relevant parties to ensure that all stakeholders are fully satisfied with the policy, practice and service that the academy provides for our young people. We appreciate that occasionally there may be specific aspects that you may wish to discuss further or that you are dissatisfied with. In order to work collaboratively with you, we ask that you contact the academy in the first instance to discuss your concerns. We will endeavour to provide an initial response within 2 working days.

To address concerns effectively, the academy has a structured resolution process. We ask that you please direct your concerns in the following order:

  1. In the first instance please contact your child’s College Leadership Team. The contacts for the different colleges can be found in the above section. If you are unsure who to contact, the main office will be able to direct your enquiry accordingly.
  2. If following correspondence with your child’s College Leadership Team you deem your complaint to be unresolved and wish for it to be investigated by the Academy Principal, please contact the PA to the Principal, Tanya Palmer.

If you deem your complaint to be unresolved after the Principal has been given the opportunity to respond, you may submit a formal complaint to the Trust using this form. You can also find the Leigh Academies Trust contact information below.

More detailed information relating to the complaints procedure can be found on the policies page of this website.
