Careers & Futures Fair

Since 2023, the Leigh Academy Longfield Careers & Futures Fair has served as a vital bridge between the classroom and the real world. We don’t just host an event; we ignite ambitions. By bringing together local industry, innovative businesses, organisations and educational institutions, we inspire our students with the possibilities of their future. Whether it’s a degree, a high-level apprenticeship, or a dream career, we ensure every child sees that their potential is limitless.

What did our students think?

Each year, students are asked to provide feedback on the event which is then used to determine how to further develop the provision subsequently. Consistently each year, students speak highly of the benefits of attending the event. On average over the years, our students have reported that;

• 91% of students rated the overall experience at least “worthwhile”, with 33% rating the event “highly valuable”.
• 86% of students agreed that the event to some extent inspired them to consider their future career and options.
