Challenge Partners

Dear Parents and Carers,

I am delighted to announce that next week, from Wednesday to Friday, our school will be hosting a professional review by Challenge Partners.

Challenge Partners is a national consortium of schools that work together to drive improvement. While this is not an Ofsted inspection, it is a high-stakes professional review. The visiting team, led by a School Improvement Expert, conducts a rigorous evaluation of our school, looking at key areas similar to those found in an Ofsted framework, such as teaching quality, student outcomes, and leadership. Our last review in 2022 was incredibly successful.

Most notably, it recognised our Spectrum Centre as a National Area of Excellence. Since then, we have only grown more ambitious. We believe our school is in a much stronger position today, and we are eager to showcase the significant progress we have made since the reviewers last visited us. We want our students to shine and show the visiting team exactly what makes our community special. We kindly ask for your support in the following ways:

  • Please speak with your child about the visit and encourage them to put their “best foot forward”, as they regularly do.
  • Remind them to, as is the usual, take pride in their work, their uniform, and their conduct around the school.
  • Ensuring your child arrives on time and ready to learn helps us maintain the high standards we strive for every day.

We are very proud of our students and our staff, and we look forward to sharing the positive outcomes of this review with you in the near future.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support.

Kind regards,

Dr F Donkor Principal
