Dear Parents and Carers,

As we approach the Easter break and the end of this module, I wanted to take a moment to reach out and say a massive well done to both you and your children.

The resilience and dedication your students have shown over the last few weeks have been impressive. We know that behind every hardworking student is a supportive home environment; thank you for the encouragement you are providing behind the scenes during this demanding time.

Period 6 & Transport Support: I am delighted to report that the turnout for our compulsory Period 6 intervention sessions in Maths(Monday) and English(Tuesday) has been fantastic. To ensure no student misses out due to logistical challenges, we are running the school minibus service at 4:00 PM to drop students off after these sessions starting from Monday 30th March. If transport has been a barrier for your child, please encourage them to make use of this service.

Easter Holiday Interventions: To maintain this momentum, as previously communicated, we are hosting targeted sessions during the Easter break. Please find the attached timetable for specific dates. When reviewing the schedule, please note the recommendations:

● English Priority: If a student has not yet secured a Grade 5 in English, they must attend these sessions as their primary priority.

● Subject Balance: Once the English requirement is met, students should prioritise other subjects to ensure a well-rounded revision profile.

Parents Information evening: A gentle reminder again regarding our final Parent information evening on Thursday, 23rd April, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. During this session, we will go over the final milestones leading up to the exams, discuss the exam season logistics, and provide a space for you to ask any questions you may have. We believe this will be a valuable session in ensuring we are all working together to support the students through the final stretch.

Looking Ahead: Prom 2026: While the focus is currently on the hard work of revision, we are also looking forward to celebrating the students’ journey. We are excited to confirm that the Year 11 Prom will be held on 23rd June. I have attached a separate letter regarding Prom details, which includes information on the venue and instructions for payment. Please ensure you review this to secure your child’s place at what promises to be a wonderful evening at a great venue.
