Re: Year 7 Settling In event
I hope that your child(ren) and your family have settled well into the Leigh Academy Longfield community. On Wednesday 8th October, 5pm to 6pm, we would like to welcome you and your child(ren) to visit Leigh Academy Longfield for our annual “Settling In” event. It is a great opportunity to meet your child’s college team and other year 7 families, whilst also seeing the academy again. You do not need to book in advance, but you must attend the event with your child(ren) who are in our year 7 cohort.
The event opens with a short presentation and so I invite you to attend for a 5pm start. I must also clarify that this is not a “parents’ consultation evening” event, and so teachers will not be available to discuss your child’s academic progress thus far. If you have any questions related to this, please contact your child’s form tutor who will be able to assist you further. We look forward to welcoming you to the academy.
